Mission Statement: Unified Homeowners of Illinois Federal Credit Union is an federal credit union whose philosophy is to deliver sound financial information and services that help Illinois homeowners maintain and improve their homes.
History and Structure: Unified Homeowners of Illinois was chartered in February 2006. Unified Homeowners’ of Illinois Federal Credit Union (UH of IL FCU) provides personal, “people-focused” services and small loans to homeowners throughout Illinois. In addition to credit union-related offerings, its hallmark deliverables includes budgeting, property tax assistance, debt settlement assistance, and notary services, among other offerings. Unlike large, impersonal financial institutions, UH of IL FCU knows each of its members by name, taking a personal interest in each individual’s financial requirements. It’s therefore able to tailor services and solutions to best meet members’ specific goals.
Teresa V. Rosado: An 11-year veteran of Unified Homeowners of Illinois, Inc., and manager of Unified Homeowners of Illinois FCU, Teresa Rosado has leveraged a banking and accounting background to provide credit counseling, family budgeting, debt repayment and related credit counseling expertise and services to homeowner members.
Thomas O.Walker: Unified Homeowners’ Association of Illinois Inc. President Thomas O. Walker founded the homeowners association in 2004, and has sponsored Unified Homeowners of Illinois Federal Credit Union (UH of IL FCU) since 2005. A 1976 graduate of the University of Texas, with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Mr. Walker has a wealth of banking, real estate and insurance-related expertise, combined with knowledge achieved through a variety of key industry related professional memberships. He’s also been accredited as a Senior Mortgage Consultant and Certified Mortgage Specialist, and achieved Mortgage Banker 101 Certification. Mr. Walker also holds a residential mortgage license as a loan officer, also providing residential home mortgages through UH of IL FCU.
